Serving as an introduction to Unity’s editor, Shanty Town was a solo-project carried out over the span of a month with the goal of teaching students the tools of Unity. The 3D editor boasts a multitude of tools such as terrain brushes, object placement, texture assigning and many other useful functions. Before working on the level itself, students were tasked with putting together a level design document that would illustrate the level before it became realized in a 3D environment.
